Can I host anything on AdriaHost?
No. Malicious content or any kind of potential hazard that may harm AdriaHost servers or any other server on the Internet, are strictly prohibited, as well as posting links toward this type of contents on the Internet. Examples of unacceptable contents: pirate software, hacking programs or archives, warez sites, etc.
Can I lease hosting from you although I am not a company?
Yes. After ordering a service you will receive a payment notice which can be executed in any post office or bank.
Can I pay for hosting through company account?
Yes. We are a company and we can issue you a pro-forma invoice for services we provide.
I made payment for hosting and domain, when can I expect activation?
We execute services within 24hrs after payment receipt. However, it became a practice to execute all services within 10 minutes upon payment receipt, hence your site can be operational on the very same day.
Does someone contact me on service expiration?
Yes. If you have leased a service with AdriaHost, you will be notified by e-mail, followed by telephone call from AdriaHost Sales Department. In order to receive our timely alerts and follow ups, it is exceptionally important to submit your accurate information. Notifications are sent 30, 15, 10 and 7 days prior to service expiration.
I want to transfer the site to you, but I don’t know how?
AdriaHost will carry out complete site transfer for you, trouble-free. This service is free-of-charge. AdriaHost will open your hosting and transfer the site. Upon successful site transfer, the Sales Department will contact you for issuance of pro-forma invoice related to chosen hosting package.
Can I get technical support over the phone?
No. Technical support of AdriaHost functions solely through tickets. Please understand that trouble tickets are the fastest and the most reliable way for solving your problems with AdriaHost. We don’t offer technical support service by phone.
I am trying to login cPanel but this attempt fails. Why?
You have probably entered wrong password. Please bear in mind that fields for login are case sensitive (all caps/small caps). In case you entered wrong password three times in a row, your account will be locked for half an hour after which you can try to login again. It is for the best to contact AdriaHost if you have any troubles to login.
My hosting is suspended. Why?
Most likely you failed to renew hosting, and it expired. These situations are not common because we have excellent system for notifying the clients, and the Sales Department contacts over the phone. All clients are informed at least 20 days prior to service expiration. AdriaHost also reserves the right to suspend hosting in case of abuse, but you will be contacted and informed about details as soon as abuse is detected.
I have a virus on the site, what do I do?
1. You need to clean infected files.
2. You need to keep hosting settings at safe. If you have to give someone your password changed it immediately after completed access. Don’t write down passwords or share it with many people.
3. You have to make sure that your computer is free of viruses, Trojans, keyloggers, etc. You need to scan your computer on regular basis.
4. Regularly update your scripts and programs you downloaded. Always make upgrade to the latest version of your blog, forum, etc.
5. Do not put writable permissions on files. Proper permissions are 755 or 644, which you can verify in your File Manager. Most users avoid 777 permissions, but you must avoid permissions which allow Group or World writing. (Including all ending with 7, 6, 3 or 2. The first digit can be any of these, but not the last two.)
Do you create backup?
Yes. AdriaHost backups all sites once a week. However, the user assumes full liability for all files on leased hosting as well as for their maintenance and backup. User has an option to create backups from cPanel.
Can I purchase domain which is already registered?
No. Purchase of already registered domain is not possible. It is possible only in case you find owner of domain and he/she consigns or sells it to you – which is highly unlikely.
When is due date for prolonging domain?
Domain expires after a year or more on the same date you registered it (depending on how many years you’ve registered it). Upon expiration, domain is automatically locked, i.e. enters redemption, but you can prong it in period of 27 days following expiration date. After the 27th day, AdriaHost will not be able to prolong you domain.
I have a domain with you, how can I change who is data?
If it is related to the international domain (.com, .net, .org…), you need to send ticket to technical support. Change of who is data in international domains is free-of-charge.
If it is related to the national domain (.rs, .co.rs, .edu.rs, .org.rs, .in.rs) change of who is data is complicated procedure which also requires sending a ticket to technical support. This procedure is additionally charged according to RNIDS´ pricelist.
How can I change domain’s DNS´?
Contact technical support through ticket and give name of domain and DNS´ to which domain should be redirected.
Is it necessary to pay for change of DNS´?
No. This service is free-of-charge.
Is there an affiliate programme?
Yes. AdriaHost has been working for years with companies and individuals who offer services on the Web. We have two affiliate programmes – for Web masters and Web designers.
How can I become affiliate?
